Pros

G o o d team mates

Cons

The return-to-office policy makes zero sense. It’s clearly about control, not productivity. Work that was done just fine remotely now requires sitting in an office for no real reason. Commutes are a waste of time and money, and morale has taken a hit. Leadership talks about flexibility but doesn’t actually practice it. It feels disconnected from reality.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on Glassdoor about our return to the office—your feedback truly means a lot to us as we navigate this transition together. Your points regarding the commute, increased expenses, and the effect on morale are important, and we understand how these factors can influence both job satisfaction and overall performance. The intention behind the policy was never to diminish the trust we have in our team, nor to undermine the flexibility that has been such a vital part of our culture. Instead, the goal has been to foster collaboration and maintain our shared sense of community. A special thanks to those who have already been commuting and working onsite full-time—we really appreciate your dedication and flexibility. Now, with everyone joining together in our new space, we have a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our sense of community and spark even more collaboration. Warm regards, FTJ Representative

Pros

Some coworkers are great people who genuinely try to help each other despite the stressful, low morale environment.

Cons

Owners and upper management do not care about employees’ well-being or feedback. They recently changed from a work-from-home setup to a mandatory five-days-in-office policy without listening to employee concerns. “Town halls” are held supposedly to answer questions, but employees are muted and can’t speak directly — only pre-screened, generic questions are addressed. No one wants to speak up in fear of retaliation. The ‘open door’ concept isn’t real. There is no meaningful training or knowledge-sharing process. When someone leaves, they take essential knowledge with them, leaving the teams scrambling. Upper management is quick to assign blame rather than take accountability or learn from mistakes.
