you just might get to dance to the music there Our store manager is extremely positive but he's rarely here and that's when hell breaks loose. Our store manager cares and can be a pain at time but he will make you wanna work.

everything is a down side you just don't know it yet! where do I start? If you're at forever 21 in Lakewood California....run for the hills. Speaking of running can we talk about the lazy managers who refuse to run go backs for a backed-up fitting room which has NO RUNNER whatsoever...why? Because there is no one on the floor. Why? Because "we're not making any sales". These managers rather sit behind the cash wrap and bump their gums. Or more specifically flirt with a fellow male cashier or stand around and attempt to organize dates with a fellow associate. So that is con #1, no support from the management. While the sales associates [none on the floor until 8 o clock] and quad leaders [same situation] bust they're bums trying to deal with 10-20 go back racks [in each zone] that are left over from the night before that the managers passed by because they were in lala land or chilling in the office talking [you can hear them from the fitting room] while their store becomes utter chaos. How about recovery? How about the mess that is all over the floor from 8 hours of no associates being present in any quad? That's not a problem, it's the mess that STAYS on the floor because the managers are in la la land and all the mess on the floor is invisible until the people that work for the whole day finally come in 2 hours before closing. That's when they see it! So they threaten all the while sneaking in side insults and go back to their cash wrap headquarters while we SLAVE our butts off. Oh & Closing comes and each quad has about 5+ go back racks. Oh but we cannot focus on that because of the mess that is on the floor from 8 hours of no one being present. So the managers go around cussing at us and complaining "when are you guys going to be done" and go back to their cash wrap headquarter and get on their cell phones or work phones and bump those gums. Favoritism is rampant, it's alive, and ready to rumble! That's all I'll say about that, look at the other reviews and you will know that it is very common for someone to get 5 days, 4 hours a week even in a rough sales climate while there's a new someone who busts' their bum and gets one day a week or even...oh...NO DAYS A WEEK. No days a week is a common trend in my store. Hours are up and down and change like the unorganized floor sets. Speaking of floor sets...the visual merchandisers, the grades, and their expectations are a JOKE. BUT nothing beats the joke of the managers expecting the employees to "dress up" but wear a plaid tshirt and jeans to work or better yet, a plain blue shirt and black leggings w/ no accessories. Lead by example shall we? This job is mentally exhausting and has made me feel the need to escape to some unknown island and get away and go to rehab. But i don't have the money for that because we are underpaid and the raise is crappy. I don't know about all of the other forever's but Lakewood Mall's? You don't want none.
