Pros

None, this place is ran but a Vice president who is rude has anger issues and love to retaliate

Cons

Everything about this job. From the owner all the way down to the VP of operations who has anger issues and knows nothing about the job, and his protege the director of operations who has a disqualified RN and paramedic license in Florida due to massive complaints

Thank you for sharing your feedback. While we welcome all perspectives, we must correct the factual inaccuracies in this review. All our leaders undergo a rigorous hiring process, including comprehensive background checks, to ensure they are qualified and that they will be a great fit for our company’s work culture. That said, we take the allegations of unprofessional behavior and retaliation you've mentioned very seriously. Our goal is to ensure a professional and reliable work environment. This requires clear and consistent standards for all team members, which our local leadership team has been focused on upholding. These include showing up on time, staying for the entirety of assigned shifts, and communicating properly with supervisors. Unfortunately, a few individuals chose to challenge our processes rather than comply with our set standards. For our company, maintaining a reliable, professional work environment is non-negotiable. We want to be clear that our company has a zero-tolerance policy for retaliation, harassment or unprofessional behavior from any employee. Given the serious nature of your claims, we strongly encourage you to contact our HR department with specific details so a formal and confidential investigation can be conducted. We wish you the best in your future endeavors

Pros

Working at FocusPoint as an Operations Support Specialist has truly been one of the best experiences in my professional journey. I came to this position at the perfect time in my life — when I was ready for growth, challenge, and the chance to really prove myself in a meaningful role. From day one, the support and structure here made me feel valued and capable. The work itself is incredibly rewarding — being part of an organization that responds to real emergencies and provides global assistance gives every shift a sense of purpose. It’s not just a job; it’s a constant reminder that what we do makes a difference. What stands out most to me is the teamwork and communication. No matter the situation, everyone here works together seamlessly, which makes even the busiest days feel manageable. I’ve developed strong critical-thinking skills, learned to stay calm under pressure, and grown more confident in my decision-making. Overall, I can confidently say that joining FocusPoint was one of the best choices I’ve made. It came at just the right moment, and I’m grateful to be part of a team that challenges me, supports me, and celebrates wins together.

Cons

Fast-Paced Environment: The workload can be intense during peak hours or global incidents, which requires strong time management and adaptability. High-Responsibility Role: Because of the nature of crisis response, there’s little room for error — it can be stressful at times, but it builds resilience. Shift Work: Rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends, can be challenging to adjust to, though it’s balanced by extended days off.

Pros

The few coworkers remaining are the only positive factor

Cons

They have an issue with people of color! I know for fact that any rating listed as positive is false lies of employees forced to write reviews at the direction of upper management. There is no leadership. No direction. They have no respect for employees as people or lives outside of work. When reporting issues it’s a one man show and nothing is anonymous and get used against you. Company culture is non-exaistant moral is very low and people are there networking to find other jobs. Micro management and dictatorship of fear is the only objective and how they run things. Making people cry is a regular occurrence and ongoing joke. Upper management feeds off of drama and the do as I say not as I do approach as they work minimal hours in the office and delegate all their task from home and rarely available to employees. They having no idea how to run a business and offer no one growth unless you into feeding the drama. There is no advancement, or incentive to stay. The pay scale they operate under is from 10yrs ago and offers no bonus, raise structure, or growth of any kind. They do not help with tuition, any courses, or incentive to help you grow individually they instead offer Pod cast. They overlook quality employees and instead be trying to groom certain individuals with no skill or ability to be in any kind of leadership.
