Pros

Set daily route pay Vehicle use in & out of work

Cons

Can’t choose hours… No guarantee of work Route area changes daily No say in how many parcels you deliver? You can’t pick and choose routes You can’t turn the root down without consequences you can’t send another person to cover you You’re expected to finish your route whether it takes two hours or 20 hours You pay a weekly rate for a van, regardless of whether Van new or four years old You’re required to deliver two businesses and households/farms down roads or should I say tracks that sre not fit for purpose, in doing so if you damage the van, they charge you any amount they see Fit and take weekly payments from your invoices at a rate of their choosing and don’t inform you until you receive your invoice. They charge drivers for damage then don’t get the vans fixed. Your told you can’t repair any damage it must go through them. If you’re struggling on your route, they occasionally send another driver but deduct for every parcel that Driver takes. They don’t give a full contract They won’t produce/provide paperwork You must become a limited company You have to pay a weekly fee to their accountancy firm, that does nothing for you The first 10 weeks you must pay a weekly deposit £50 towards the van. If you’re off, they switch the van and immobiliser on If for some reason you can’t get and when you say you are coming in, they ask you to return the vans which still charge you Many more cons too many to list

Pros

There are no pros for working for this company.

Cons

Drivers beware of this company. They are often short staffed and having to bring drivers in from other parts of the country. Expect to work long hours and any slight damage to the van (which would be expected given the job) and they withhold/retain your entire pay. £150 bumper or bust tyre damage likely to cost you thousands in lost pay. Van hire is expensive and you have to pay insurance to the company themselves which doesn’t cover any damage. One regional manager treats the staff appallingly. Drivers who’ve left have not been paid.
