I had a disappointing experience working at Fleetio. During my interview, I was promised guidance and mentorship throughout my time there, but that was far from the reality. When I didn't complete tasks exactly as my former manager wanted them, instead of providing constructive guidance and mentoring, they simply took over and completed the work themselves. This not only hindered my growth but also created a frustrating environment where I felt powerless to learn and improve. What added to my disappointment was the blatant dishonesty within the company. I was repeatedly told that everything was going well when it clearly wasn't. This lack of transparency eroded trust and left me feeling disconnected from the team. There were no tangible efforts to help me enhance my skills or advance within the company.
