Pros
The money is pretty good. Servers make $3.66/hr but walk home with at least $100 a night, bussers make $5/hr plus a tip-out from the servers, hosts make $7/hr but more if they've been there longer. Customers are usually nice. Coworkers are big on teamwork and helping everyone out and there's also a sense of family between coworkers.
Free soda and ice cream for all employees, half of meals, and free meals if you work all day.
Cons
Serving cons: you have to be really strong. Changing kegs is really important (a full keg is 160 lbs, and an empty keg is about 30lbs). Carrying trays is also a big deal here and sometimes the trays, whether its plates of food or floats, are very heavy.
Bussing: when bussing, some servers rely on the busser too much so expect to be bussing every second of your shift. Shifts are also often 9 hours.
Hosting: Servers are hard to please when you are hosting them. You either give them too many tables or too little and they will complain. Fitz's is almost always really busy so the lobby gets packed and a lot of people are grumpy about waiting so long for a table and for the tight space.
