Pros

-Distance days are a nice way to decompress and get away from work -The company platform is a great to have for company news and overall engagement. -There are mostly great leaders

Cons

-This is an SDR function burn/churn. Less than 40% of SDRs hitting monthly goals and less than 15% consistently hitting full quota. -No room for growth with unrealistic target metrics unless you are one of the SDRs that have been here from early-stage to now and were promoted to scale the company. -SDR presidents club is 2 quarters of quota attainment for either disco OR 2nd meeting, not both, which shows how difficult it may be to attain quota and OTE.

We appreciate your candid feedback and encourage you to have additional discussions with leadership or provide comments in the engagement survey. We do have an approach that is high activity, based on our market and positioning. While everyone’s experience is different, this model has a strong track record of success for our SDR team. We also make it a priority to develop and empower the best people we can, including SDRs who now have more senior sales roles. At Firstup, every employee is an owner. Talk to your people leader about utilizing the development stipend and other development opportunities.

Pros

I'm still new here, one month in. But I've had an outstanding experience so far. I sell a forward thinking product that solves real problems for organizations looking to communicate more effectively with their workforce. The leadership from the CEO on down seems genuinely interested in my success, the success of the overall team, and the customers using or considering using Firstup products.

Cons

I was initially hesitant to join this company because the Glassdoor reviews here were horrendous. Before I accepted the offer, I had a heart to heart with the hiring manager, CRO, and an account executive. And I'm so glad I did. They didn't make excuses about the low ratings. They explained how a year ago this company had some toxic leadership and people left. Since then, new leadership has taken over, and even though I didn't experience the "toxic days", I can tell things here are quite different. Just goes to show how critical leadership is to a company's culture and overall success. I don't regret joining Firstup at all.
