Pros
A few good people in the company.
Cons
A manager who moaned about everything, from me deciding to not eat my lunch (on my unpaid lunch break) in the staff kitchen, to 'not talking enough'. Even for using the wrong colour pen. Repeatedly called me a liar, for saying I can't remember a random amount from a few days ago, and for once being a few minutes late due to a broken down lorry blocking the entrance to the industrial estate the office was located on (a colleague confirmed this was true). This genuinely isn't hyperbole, it genuinely was the biggest mistake of my career accepting the employment. This was the only employment I walked out on mid shift and didn't work my notice. 3 month notice period after 6 month probation. GDPR compliance was at best questionable, no discretion or privacy when talking about fellow employees and candidates that have been interviewed. They claim to be 'Covid secure' but were very hostile to me taking sometime off to get my second Covid jab (it was almost 12 weeks since my first jab, so needed to get it done), they wouldn't allow time off for a medical appointment, nor allow me to use any annual leave, they made me make up the time (something no other employer has done, as all previous either allow a couple of hours for medical appointments, the ones that don't allow the use of annual leave).
