Great for the technicians and the suppression guys, very talented leadership outside of the office. They’ll let you use the warehouse bay for working on your car after hours.
Cons
Darcey is such a heinous person to work for and with. I would not take a job in the office, they’ll fire you randomly and with no reviews and no cause and won’t explain anything to you. Don’t be fooled by their “small family business” trope. Darcey is incapable of training or teaching you anything, and Robbin will punish you for it. Have a child coming? Not their problem. Abusive management team that is archetypical of using-abusing their employees. Women run, women problems, a very toxic and deceptive management team governed by their emotions as opposed to any actual reasoning or rationality. Lots of bitter back talk and gossip and talking rudely/horribly of others. The work you will do are primarily extinguisher forms done on complicated archaic legacy-forms developed on microsoft word 2011 that don’t work or function properly. Extremely high expectations that no human can meet except for the user who built the forms herself, and will obviously make no attempt to update or change them due to sheer incompetence or laziness. Take the job, let Darcey come down on you harshly and without reason, and know that you walked a path I already walked. Plenty of other work. They’ll even have the gall to insult you as you’re walking out the door for the last time.
