Pros

Nice corporate office for employees who get to go there. Awesome people. Free candy. Decent PTO and benefits.

Cons

This program is a joke. There’s insane and constant turnover in the company. Pay increases are so small they’re essentially non-existent. They hire in with the mindset of obtaining the “best and the brightest” then burn you out so badly people leave without exit plans in place. Management does not care about the people, have ignored multiple and consistent requests for feedback that employees are desperate to give. Employees are used to fill in roles in the company that they can’t hire other people to do because the role is so intense that nobody stays in it. Almost half the people in the program have quit in less than a year, with more to come surely. Management hasn't dealt with any of the issues this company has, they’re aware of the high turnover and burn out but refuse to do anything to solve it. Bullying from managers is allowed and ignored, young employees are exploited until they quit. If you get forced into a supervisory position in the plant, expect 60 hour work weeks with 6 days a week regularly. Will guilt trip you if you mention that you are not available on a weekend day. Would not recommend to anyone unless you already have a plan for leaving.

Pros

Iconic brands Capable coworkers Cool office, and good location Real opportunities to build tangible experience

Cons

Very cut throat / unforgiving culture Poor work / life balance Poor IT systems Unrealistic deadlines, “Ferrara Fast” High employee turnover Most work is churn at the corporate level, does not feed into proper decisions / strategy execution at the executive level Short term performance management, worse than Private Equity companies. Week to week performance reviews of the business, leading to substandard results in market and serious risk of long term underperformance
