Pros
- Value proposition is real and clients are happy. Alpha is transforming product management. - Growing quickly, with a strong mix of industry veterans and ambitious career upstarts. - Atmosphere of both experimentation and accountability. You are expected and empowered to exercise good judgment, which means that you are bound by results, not process. - Great culture. Weekly team lunch (out of the office!). Lots of events, including game nights, happy hours, team outings, lunch & learns. - Not just the culture, but the people. I really enjoy working with everyone at Alpha, at any of our offices. Positive attitudes, critical thinking, and common goals. - Excellent work/life balance: Unlimited PTO, flexible hours and work locations. Just get your work done.
Cons
- Most tasks have little structure; it's on you to decide the best way to accomplish any goal. There's support and guidance, of course, but ultimate accountability lies with you. For some this is a pro, but others may have difficulty in this environment. - Hiring process (especially at the interview phase and on) not as streamlined as it should be, yet.
