Pros
nice, intelligent coworkers, profit sharing is decent, free gas, cell phone, and labtop (well they are supposed to be for business use but you can get away with using it for personal use).
Cons
-constant verbal abuse and mistrust from supervisor -unrealistic caseload-i would like to see upper management try to settle claims and meet the claimants in person driving everywhere in southern ca traffic, esp 405 traffic. no adjuster can meet the ludicrous performance expectations. maybe in a perfect claims world where claimants come to your office so you can get credit for meeting them in person, accidents where A r/e B and both parties agree on liability, where claimants agree on your low settlement, etc. -high stress from angry customers and tyrannical demands from idiot supervisor -lack of training or delayed training-i must have looked like a novice in front of the claimants -company expects you to work 60 hours but manage to fit it in 40 hours so they don't have to pay overtime and are cheap about giving overtime -being stuck in l.a. traffic meeting claimants, getting home late, and not getting compensated
