Pros
Honestly you're getting the experience you want as an EMT from this company, this is a stepping stone job it's not a place anyone wants to be forever. Very professional company, pretty good benefits, accrued PTO, they will work with your schedule, not hard to float by without getting in trouble. Overtime is usually always available.
Cons
Everyone wants the same days off for testing, biddles, and interviews. They will work with your schedule but they will not bend any rules. If you mess up at this company they have no problem firing you and and ruining any dreams of being a firefighter. Pay is currently getting better but still not that great. You're expendable and they let you know that from the start. Extremely big company and always hiring.
