Mixed feelings - Backend Engineer Fairlo Employee Review

I had the opportunity to work at Farilo as a Master Thesis Student for a period of 6 months, and I must say it was a truly rewarding experience. The work culture at Farilo is outstanding, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and a positive atmosphere. From day one, I felt welcomed by my colleagues, who were not only highly competent but also incredibly supportive. Additionally, Farilo is involved in meaningful work. The company's dedication to a good cause is evident in the projects and initiatives they undertake. Being part of a team that works towards making a positive impact on society was truly fulfilling.

In terms of drawbacks, it's hard for me to pinpoint any significant challenges during my time at Farilo. The overall experience was overwhelmingly positive, and any minor obstacles were quickly addressed and resolved by the supportive environment and effective teamwork.

Working at Fairlo has been a great experience. The hybrid workspace model and flexible working hours of the company are very good. They also provide 30 days of annual leave, which is a fantastic perk that enhances work-life balance. The equipment provided is of high quality and sufficient for our needs. Individual budget for development (e.g. books, online courses, AWS certifications, participation in events, etc.) is available on request. Management welcomes feedback, and the communication between different teams is getting better every day. We are encouraged to share our knowledge with our colleagues, fostering a collaborative and learning environment. In conclusion, Fairlo is a company that is strengthening and improving. It’s a place where you can grow, learn, and be part of a great team.
