Pros
The product is unique, multidisciplinary and ambitious. The company is visionary and constantly growing. Comfortable office and work environment. A caring and considerate human resources department. Good salary.
Cons
Mostly amateur and inexperienced management, although they recently seem to realize and fix it. Many planning and operational mistakes. Major indecisiveness over the directions the company shall take. A company-wide issue of definition of roles and responsibilities - employees from different teams may do the the same job and compete over the duty. Way too often after a few months employees find themselves not doing what they were supposed to be doing as mentioned when they signed their employment contract (negative employee mobility). Employee professional dissatisfaction is substantial across all departments - number one reason for employees leaving the company. Motivated and talented people join, and after a while they get turned off mainly due to management faults. Organizational structure changes are performed once every two or three months without any logical reasoning that is understood by the employees at the bottom. Changes are made and then may get reverted. The company focuses on putting out fires instead of having a long-term planning strategy. Once every few months the entire R&D shifts from one focus to another. It's hard to get a sense of progress in regards to the product. The software group is "wannabe agile" - they still haven't figured out if they use Scrum or Kanban. Not enough room for innovation.
