Dysfunctional organization with very poor practices - Project Engineer FUJIFILM Medical Systems Employee Review

Pros

Salary and health care benefits. There are no other benefits: no training or educational opportunities, little opportunity for advancement, and a complete lack of growth or personal development. Take the money. Enjoy the benefits. Just don't expect to do anything great in the dysfunctional environment of this tired company.

Cons

Extremely dysfunctional groups that fail to cooperate in any way with one another. It is extremely difficult to get information or support from within the organization, leaving clients without adequate support. Absolutely the poorest management, pitting employees against one another and showing no interest in improving employee relations, customer satisfaction, or corporate growth. There is an absolute dearth of skills in any of the managerial ranks. Finally, a human resources group that is much less than competent. It is very much a 1950s Japanese conglomerate run by people with a 1950s factory view of employee relations and business. The best experience I had was leaving, and leaving quickly.

Pros

Not nearly enough to make up for the bad..

Cons

I reported to management I did not want to work with their drunk buddy around high speed rotary heavy equipment. Others also admitted he smells like alcohol. They told me to shutup and do what he says. I still refused, weeks later their drunk buddy fell into the equipment with tools and did large amounts of damage. After issues like this and many others. I resigned. Not long after I noticed mysterious cars following me and parked near my place. Compare their product and quality against any other vendor. Not worth it in any way or form. Instead of doing the right thing, most efforts were spent making others take, hide, or revenge their garbage. And it shows in the product. There were instances were customer equipment had not been functional in years. The customer thanked us. Management attacked the ppl that finally did what they couldnt or didnt do previously..
