Pros
Eh it's a job. The pay is competitive and the benefits are good. Youll be able to live your life out here. Stability is always a nice thing. I know some people are well over worked here, but in my opinion for a greater majprity the workload seems to be manageable amd enjoyable enough that people stay here for years. There are growth opportunities. I think that many managers are pretty good. Regular performance reviews really help to ensure employees are recognized for their efforts. Again it is a stable job that will look good on your resume if you ever leave.
Cons
Why is it that one of the big things Fujifilm promotes in its training is its responsibility to the environment. Yet it doesnt recycle. There are multiole bins out to recycle. There are signs everywhere, but the clean up crew literally walks around with one bag and throws it all in. We even have trash bins at our desks to separate it. Honestly this isnt a place where a millennial will want to be. The work environment is somewhat dreadful, but tolerable enough. The entire building is dead silent. Sometimes you just want to hide away in the back of the hall just to watch the cars go by so you can remember theres still life somewhere. Ive never had a company so disengaged with its employees. Like wow. Very few company events and unless youre in Valhalla the company events that do happen are very low budget and slapped together. How nice it'd be to be in Valhalla. I think Id really love it here if I worked there. Anyways all of this is tolerable due to the stability, pay and benefits. Come in do your job, do it well, get out. But can you at the very least give us recycling? Is that too much to ask for?
