Pros

- If you pay attention to your co-workers work you will be able to learn almost everything of what you need to know about social media marketing. -You will work with some very sharp individuals. -They will pay for some training. -You will get a lot of hands on experience. A lot. -Happy hours and actually fun team building events make working there fun at times.

Cons

The other negative reviews are generally true. I'm writing this from a creative department point of view. If you've worked in the creativity industry, you will laugh at your set up here. Here's your tech list to split with three other content producers: one Walmart tripod, two cheap lights, two canon 70Ds with a kit lens (bring your own lens), someone lost the boom mic and they never replaced it, two backdrops but no backdrop stand (asked for a year for one, nothing) and a back office to shoot in. Yes, there is no studio space yet want studio quality work. You might be intrigued and excited by rigging a set out of an office, so if you enjoy that you'll be fine. Oh, and you'll have to use your co workers as actors. As the other reviews say, you'll be underpaid and overworked which is never a good combination. You will juggle anywhere from 5-8 clients basically churning out content. If you're the type of person who can just grin and bear it, you'll be fine. But if you're the type of creative who enjoys working with others on creative projects, 90% of your work will not be that. Management will over promise to clients about our ability production wise and then blame creatives on the shortcomings. The review about cliqueiness is also accurate.

First, I would like to apologize for not responding sooner. Thank you for you for taking the time to give feedback on your experience here. It allows us to reflect on our current efforts and make changes where they are necessary. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the people you worked with, I think the innovation and talent brought by our diverse staff is one of our greatest resources. The cliques are something I have worked hard to break in the past with our bi-annual workstation shuffles and team-building opportunities, such as off-campus happy hours, volunteer days, and Think and Drinks. However, knowing this is a feeling some staff members still have lets me know I need to continue to work towards an environment that feels more inclusive. Your feedback on the Creative Department has been influential in improving the structure and procedures of this department. While I would love to be able to provide our Digital Content Producers with a studio space, as a relatively small office, it is not something we can currently manage. We are aiming to have a studio space in place next year. I apologize that the lack of resources made you feel overworked and as though you were not set up for success. Hopefully, as we continue to grow we can provide the necessary equipment and resources so that all of our team members can do their best work, every day. I am working hard to improve in all areas as I want my perception of FSC Interactive to be everyone’s reality. Once again, I would like to apologize that during your time with FSC our efforts did not meet your expectations. I genuinely care about this company and each of the talented individuals that bring energy and innovation to this agency.

Pros

Great leadership that cares about the business and staff, with social hours and encouragement to learn new job-related skills. FSC Interactive attracts great talent, so you'll be working with nice and talented folks. There's a nice and diverse roster of clients so you're always working on something new and interesting. Good work-life balance, while there may be busy moments like in any other company, you won't be working nights and weekends. Taking your PTO is encouraged and the team is great about letting you enjoy your PTO without interruption. Overall a really great place to work!

Cons

None that I can think of.

Pros

- The People- The people at this company are who make it so special! Everyone is extremely intelligent in their field, and I highly recommend getting to know every department because there is so much to learn. These are the type of people you would have wanted to be paired with back in the school group project days, and you'll enjoy learning from them as much as you'll enjoy grabbing a drink with them. -The Environment- This dog-friendly office is a fun, fast-paced environment. While everyone takes their job seriously, the vibe in the office is always light and upbeat. -The Benefits- Weekly Think & Drinks, monthly off-location birthday celebrations, 401K, Health/Vision/Dental, PTO, Professional Development -The Clients- You work with prominent businesses known throughout New Orleans, as well as a couple clients across the country.

Cons

-The Salary- Compared to salaries of similar jobs in other major cities it is low, but compared to other New Orleans companies in the same industry it is average. -The Ever-Changing Industry- The digital marketing industry is not for everyone. It's fast-paced and constantly changing. If you're not prepared to learn and be flexible, you may want to consider a different industry.
