Pros

FIS has so many different areas of business that you can work, learn, and grow. The people for the most part are great people to work with. The company is number #1 in its industry and still growing. The ESPP Sock Purchase plan and match are great for the employee.

Cons

FIS has a minimal raise percentage once you're hired. You may see 2 to 3 percent increase on average. Non-management positions receive minimal pay increase during promotion period. Senior Management in some areas believe good talent is easily replaceable and would rather lose a star employee to another company than match the competing company's offer.

Pros

Most colleagues are well intentioned, but stretched beyond the max.

Cons

After filing for FMLA, my “leader” encouraged me not to involve HR in the future. The whole point of FMLA is job protection. Him making this suggestion, at best, seems highly unethical and potentially illegal. Some leaders are good with people. Others are more techno sound. The ones that can effectively do both are let go. It makes no sense and the company offers little transparency.
