1. This review is particular about team in Trading domain, team which is responsible to manage the trading line handler and market data. 2. I am not sure about other teams may be there could have different situation. 3. If someone going to these team from good background then please avoid it, it may not add benefit to you. 4. The products are developed around 20 years back, legacy technology. 4. When I joined the training was not good, no recorded sessions, no detailed sessions. The individual assigned for training did not conducted it well. No rules or guidelines for how to give training or conduct it. Manager was not interested in those things, he just wanted to complete the tasks ASAP. 5. All products are already developed and no new development and only bug fixing happens. 6. The new features are in terms of adding if else code only. 7. The colleagues from teams are all not sound in technical knowledge even manager, he does not know the C++11. 8. Their trading products are not called to be low latency trading, they don't know what is low latency trading , no one write code in that way, just maintaining legacy code. 9. High pressure for fixing production issues even have to work late night and weekends. 10. Office hardware is around more than 10 years old. 11. In pandemic, they did not allow us to move out of Pune easily, business was on more priority than employees. 12. When we moved out of Pune they did not provide Laptop to us for WFH we have to use our own machine for office work. We struggled lot to take office Laptop. 13. They provided WFH setup cost nearly end of pandemic in Sep 21 14. No hike given to anyone in pandemic year, even for trading team who was working endlessly and boom in business of trading, new client came, still not given single penny hike to employees. 15. No Diwali gift this year, nearly 90% of team left the organization, even senior manager left. 16. Their appraisal cycle start from the Jan to Dec but for giving payment with its effect is from the March to March, you can see company is eating 3 months appraisal money of employee. what a policy !! 17. Quarterly employee activity fund also not given to employee in pandemic. Not sure how it is in fortune 500 company. 18. Manager is not interested in giving any farewell to any employee. When employee are in notice period manager try to give him new task or R&D task. Tried to complete as much as work from him/her. 19. Only single digit hike every year, they pay very low as compared to market. 20. As for trading team, they are working on around 21 exchange from APAC region, 21 different product, without any training on it they used to put us for task completion, we have to work on many different product in parallel, huge work load and burning due to this. 21. I only learned the fis products in my tenure and no growth in technology and any such achievement. 22. They don't hire experienced people for this team only hiring till 6 to 7 years of experienced, so no quality in product. 23. I know this is not going to approved by CEO, thanks for not accepting your mistakes.

Pros

Most colleagues are well intentioned, but stretched beyond the max.

Cons

After filing for FMLA, my “leader” encouraged me not to involve HR in the future. The whole point of FMLA is job protection. Him making this suggestion, at best, seems highly unethical and potentially illegal. Some leaders are good with people. Others are more techno sound. The ones that can effectively do both are let go. It makes no sense and the company offers little transparency.
