Pros

- Compared to the qualifications they ask for on resumes, benefits and pay are competitive. - Most managerial staff is or wants to be helpful. - The skill set learned at this job can be parlayed into better employment quite readily.

Cons

- The workload is absolutely ridiculous. I've been here over a year and I've seen basically my entire department turn over, creating a mountain of work that we straight up could not deal with. It's led to me being burnt out and having no real respite in the face of continuing to work and trying to advance my career by expanding my skill set. - Advancement is far more difficult to achieve than it should be. There's no kind of plan for growth in the role I entered into, so any aspirations or projects, I've either had to volunteer for or try and create myself. That's a large amount of stress to add on top of a ridiculous workload that exists as a baseline. - In the healthcare/technology industry, our benefits and pay are absolute jokes. A capped bank of PTO without separate sick leave and pay on the basement of a living wage is completely ridiculous compensation for the amount of knowledge we need in order to operate at baseline efficiency in our positions. The fact that I used to have a vindictive manager who put in EVERY time off request I submitted as PTO, thereby robbing me of any vacation opportunities for the next several months, is almost enough to make me quit because the stress is that high. - So many of the processes are ineffective and there's a huge reliance on conformity. As a result, very little becomes optimized and any deviations from the norm are greeted with skepticism, despite any improvements to effectiveness in completing job duties.

Achievable goals. Amazing teamwork culture. You feel safe to ask your superiors questions when confused. Super fun culture. Decent pay compared to the area. Health insurance w/ incentives to reduce premiums. many other amazing benefits to chose from like hospital indemnity, accidental death/dismemberment insurance, etc. KEPT THEIR DEI POLICIES Fun incentives Achievable bonuses. Policies that take customer behavior into account for metrics. So, so many more

Cons

Still not a comfortably livable wage. Training can be confusing and overwhelming, but that's the industry, plus you are encouraged to learn and ask questions whenever you need, no matter how long you've been there.
