Pros

Okay pay, 10 basic paid federal holidays. 5 sick days for the first year of employment, 5 personal holiday days. But those days are not paid unless you've accrued the time previously.

Cons

Accruing time for sick days or days off is next to impossible. only 1.5 hours are accrued for every 80 hours worked. the time clock system is over complicated and unnecessarily so. Only 8% of each division can take a certain day off (i.e. black friday, christmas eve, etc) and that usually means about 8 people. More often than not, there is no work for you when you come in for your shift and all the team leaders are usually in a meeting for 45 minutes at the beginning of the shift. overtime must be scheduled and verified. The environment is reminiscent of high school in that talking is treated like a crime. training isn't promised and doesn't seem to be a priority so almost everyone has no idea what they're doing most of the time. really really high turnover rate means work is spread thin and people get forgotten about.

Pros

Set schedule with mostly likable co-workers and no mandatory overtime unless you want it. The work location is convenient.

Cons

1. No growth opportunity in career path or salary. You will be stuck in the same position forever and make the same salary regardless of the quality and effort of your work. Whatever salary you were hired at is what you will make forever, unless they decide to cut your pay in order to win a contract. They tell you there's a potential for bonuses but you'll never see one and even if you do, your base salary will still never increase. 2. You're expected to stay chained to your desk for your entire shift with no interaction with fellow employees. Local management will only talk to you if they have to and will not support you when issues arise if it has the potential to affect their position. 3. Corporate management talks a good game about how they support the worker and want you to grow, but there is no follow through. Their idea of rewarding employees is to provide you with free corporate merchandise meant only to advertise the company name. 4. The leave benefits are the worst I've ever seen and you will have to work for the company for 8 yrs in order to earn an extra week of vacation, so it's highly unlikely that will ever happen. 5. Employees have little trust or confidence in corporate management.
