Short staffing but it seems to be everywhere

Good relationship between MDs/ODs - very collaborative environment. Large office, fairly well staffed with technicians. Expected to see 3 patients/hour with techs who do OCT/dilatation/Goldmann/some can refract for you. No weekends or on call for ODs (MDs only are on call). Hours are 8-4 typically. A lot of different specialty’s so often patient can stay within the practice.

Call center is not well trained, patients constantly complain about calling into the office and not being to reach anyone. Scheduling changes will often be made and you will not be notified about it. Techs frequently call out, and MDs tend to have priority for techs over ODs since they see more patients/hour than ODs.
