It is hard not to notice negative things said about your company, and, yes, those things are hurtful. But, Glassdoor is nothing more or less than a single data point in a sea of information about companies. It does provide an anonymous voice to unhappy people, and those anonymous voices obviously need to be taken with the proverbial “grain of salt.” Three other equally potent data points you might consider are that, in the last 18 months, six people who had left the company have returned, the management team has stayed intact, losing only two people in the last five years, and we’ve survived two of the worst economic downturns experienced in our lifetimes and have come back to thrive. Three other things – we do have a 401k program (with no match), we do pay bonuses (just not automatic ones), and we do have season tickets to the Red Sox and Bruins that are used almost exclusively by the employees.
I’m sure everyone who knows Extraprise can find both positive and negative things to say about the company. Frankly, that includes me. Rather than vent, we discuss them, debate them, and, if valid, try to adjust. We are building disruptive technology and services that will significantly change our industry. We are chasing the dream of building an impactful company for our clients that rewards its people financially and with invaluable experience. If you think you have the intellect, passion, and capability to contribute, find out about Extraprise yourself and draw your own conclusions. We are looking for excellent people, not anonymously critical ones. Although, we do listen to them, as well.
