Hi there — I am so sorry this is the experience you’ve had with us at Exodus. I will try my best to address some of what you have mentioned above and I am happy to address this in a personal conversation as well.
Exodus still has a lot of room to grow. As a young company, it is expected that we experience some growing pains. Although we don’t have as much structure and procedure as a more corporate setting, we are working hard to implement better systems that support clear communication, throughout our organization.
Transparency, which you also mentioned, has been at the core of our business since the very beginning, starting with transparent salaries. Our intent with this has always been to avoid confusion and unnecessary layers of management. Our goal is to empower our employees to do their best work without wasting their time. For this reason, our staff will always be direct and honest in their communication.
Regarding punctuality, yes, this is incredibly important for us. It is communicated to everyone early on and nobody has ever been terminated for being a minute late. We understand life and long meetings happen but we do have a strict policy around respecting people’s time. We make a big effort so you can work on what you want, in the schedule you want — and in order to do so, we need to be laser focused when it comes to meetings with others.
We are always working to make Exodus a better company. Overall, we value your feedback and are making actionable changes to improve the employee experience so that in the near future it is second to none. If there are any recommendations you can make that you feel would help us reach our goal, please let us know.
