      Steady employer, good atmosphere - Software Engineer Exasol Employee Review

      Pros

      Great working atmosphere in engineering department. Steady going. New direction in R&D that a lot of people feel positive about. I think the new management and management style might do a lot of good, as long as they keep their expectations realistic. The new staff coming in is promising and will do a lot of good to help out and relieve some of the current teams and individuals.

      Cons

      None that are unsurmountable. It's probably good to reduce some of the responsibilities on some contributors and some teams but it seems this is being addressed right now. The big challenge for 2026 will be to retain and train new talent.

      Pros

      As a growing company and new leadership its totally revamped how exasol used to be. It's been great so far since I've joined. Exasol as a company is heading into the right direction. The support has over exceeded me expectations, honestly everything has exceeded my expectations. Exasol has proved why it was such a smart reason to join this growing company. Their is no micromanagement, every understands we all have a job and its going to get done either individually or as a team. The product is great and meets great needs for clients, its in a great market. The leadership team values anyones input and feedback and continuously ask for people to give their opinion on anything. You just don't get that from companies now a days. Its been one of the few jobs where I feel like I can speak up and people will listen. The culture is great everyone works together and helps each other even on different teams. I enjoy it so much here where I wake up and actually look forward to work in some cases, I've never felt like that before joining Exasol. I genuinely love here.
