Pros
After coming from a toxic work environment, joining Evolve has been a breath of fresh air. Nearly 10 months in as a People Operations Manager, and I can honestly say the leadership here is the real deal — welcoming, accessible, and genuinely invested in both the team and the work we do. The people here are smart and kind, which isn't a combination you always find in a specialized field like penetration testing. Even working fully remotely, there's a warmth to the culture that comes through. It just reflects the kind of company Evolve is trying to be.
Cons
Being fully remote is overall a plus, but it does mean you have to be intentional about building relationships. Evolve works at creating ways to connect, but they can't force anyone. Organic connection doesn't happen on its own, you have to seek it out. Not a dealbreaker by any means, just something to be aware of going in.
