Pros
I worked for Evolve a few years ago at their old office and had an overall positive experience. My focus was SEO and Social Media. My ideas were heard and I was given freedom to develop strategies rather than just execute someone else's strategies. I liked how I was involved in the quoting process so we could give realistic expectations to clients. Other agencies I've worked at didn't let the specialists give input on the quotes, so the account managers would quote something totally unrealistic so they'd get their commission and the specialists actually doing the work would always be set up for failure. Not the case at Evolve. The owner sincerely cares about his clients and providing a genuine product. It's an agency so it's a lot of work, but you do learn a lot. We also had fun work outings, foosball, cornhole, etc.
Cons
We used to start at 8am and I didn't like that much, but not sure if it's still that way. I disagreed with the owner sometimes, but it was justified because he knew what he was talking about and had the experience. When you're first coming out of school it's easy to think you know everything because you read some blogs, but the reality is that you only really know theory. You've got to get some experience under your belt first.
