Cons
Other teams are all pitted against each other. Each team has different rules - WFH, hybrid, spend money on employee engagement or not. This makes it hard for collaboration between teams. Upper management & HR have started adding reviews to up the glassdoor numbers. Nothing can be written down, such as how to do the work so as people who have all the knowledge in their heads leave so does the knowledge as to how things work, leaving everything in a bit of a mess. Which costs the company more money. No replacements happen either. There has been so much shuffle in the company with teams being combined or left stranded that many things go unsupported and no one knows who does what anymore. Everyone is flying blind.
