Pros
Unlimited time off. Tuition reimbursement of $100 per month. Diversity/Inclusion is something they are spending a lot of time with and people seem happy with.
Cons
At this point in time, the company values are just something they write on paper. I know EverCommerce really does seem to want to change that, but so far none of the work has been done to make it happen. The team I was on was actually entirely discouraged from working together and supporting each other by team leadership, which made both the day-to-day and the future bleak. Middle management is constantly going rogue and clearly unaligned with "EverCommerce Values" in general. Exec leadership preaches one thing and then allows their people managers to do another which adds to this problem. Over the last 1-2 years the hiring strategy emphasized referral-based hiring but didn't stop to think about what happens when this allows teams to be built entirely out of personality hires and their other personal biases. Skip levels are not a thing and it shows. Exec leadership and contributors are completely disjointed. The pay does not match industry standards AND salary transparency is entirely discouraged. This means that when one team member (a referral) makes about $40-$50k more than another employee (who was inherited) for doing the same job, salary transparency would cause animosity and resentment. Which...it does.
