Pros
The only pros here are:
- If you end up being the boss' favorite, you can get away with anything - even murder
- Some of the employees are friendly and good natured
Cons
The interview process is simple and there will be a lot of promises made, false assurances given. However, the reality is very different. The management (it's only 2 people really) do not have any communication between themselves and keep making contradictory statements. They expect employees to mind-read. There is absolutely no tolerance for mistakes - and that would be tolerable if it was communicated to the employees in a proper manner instead of sarcasm, inappropriately rude and demeaning language over WhatsApp. If you are a sweet-talker, you will go far in this organization. There is no respect for your role - everyone is expected to do everything.
Below is a list of cons:
- There is no growth in the organization
- Excessive partiality and favoritism - If you have a pretty face, you'll last longer
- Salary not paid on time - sometimes delayed by over 10 days
- No public holidays (about 4-5 in a year). If there is a public holiday on a weekday, that Saturday is working
- Saturdays working (officially Saturdays are non-working but it really depends on the boss' whims and fancies. You will be expected to be in office even if you're doing nothing but just sitting staring at your PC screen)
- Irrespective of your profile, you will spend most of your time doing cold calling for their events (of which no information will be provided to you)
- Poor to no increment
- Hire and Fire policy
- 0 Perks
- Extremely lazy and gossiping co-workers
- Excessive work
- Most instructions are given over WhatsApp at odd hours and you are expected to respond ASAP
- No concern/humanity shown
- Double standards
- No sort of Company Policies
- Not a registered company. You will be unable to get a loan on the basis of the Salary Slips from here
- No HR and therefore, no HR policies?
- It's a one-couple show
