Pros
The people in the lab care about the quality of their work, and take pride in what they do. Air Toxics was purchased by Eurofins, and Linda Freeman has stepped down - making the environment much less hostile and more stable. Much of the fear of losing your job has diminished. Management is making an obvious effort to improve the morale and work environment.
Cons
The Eurofins corporate people that have come in seem to be focused on numbers and dollars, and have paid little to no attention to the staff in the lab. The end of month push to make money is still happening and stressful. The people in the lab making important decisions all have a chemist background and not business background, and it appears they do not know how to improve the bottom line without asking people to take on more work. The lab is understaffed, and quality does suffer from it.
