Pros
Boss was very helpful and quick to address any issues, concerns, or questions I had without micromanaging me at all A lot of freedom to work at your own pace and on the things you like Training was simple and easy, even though I was totally unfamiliar with the industry or ClearVantage Boss wanted to make sure the internship prepared me for the field (i.e. he let me play around with HTML on my own for a day because he found knowledge of the language to be necessary when applying to marketing positions) Pretty casual work environment Good culture, everyone was friendly Paid Was really great as my first internship Small company, so you meet the CEO
Cons
Because I was working with MemberConnection, I was on the lower floor with only a handful of employees who mostly worked in their own offices. I'm not the most outgoing, so not going out of my way to go upstairs and talk to everyone regularly led to me not really socializing much with anyone during the day.
