Hired so fast with simple exam. And interview by former CEO , on the spot u are being hired by the owner and bargain ur salary. I asked for $3.7K which is lower from previous salary and was given.
Asked u to pack ur things for tomorrow and prepare at least a week of clothing. Ask to bring ur passport and go to Tanah Merah early in the morning. You dont ask much question as u just been hired. The following day with ur small luggage, together with the COO we travelled to Bintan. By then, u will see like sweatshop factory of cleanroom equipment like laminar flowhood. As a new Engineer tried to make friends, the COO immediately scold me infront of other staff and I was shocked. You just came their to acclimatize to new environment and was immediately scolded for no reason. The passport was taken by HR or record purposes...and on the night as u to find ur place like a one storey dormitory. As an Engineer who traveled to many countries before, you will be scared of ur accomodation...like a small prison cell. Imagine a small room with small bed and a fan...not even an air-conditioned room. Lucky I able to get my passport as I escaped and AWOL the following day and back to civilization. My immediate Boss looking for me and callec me at noon only, by that time I reached Singapore. It was a great escape and an adventure. Dont fall to a trap to this company...you've been warned.
