Great place to work with great people. The managing partner is a great boss and mentor. I learned a lot while working there, as they allow you to be very hands on working your own cases. I’m very thankful to have had the opportunity to work there.

I have nothing bad to say about the firm. I loved working there. The biggest downside was volume of emails, but I think that’s just part of working in workers’ comp.

Friendly co-workers, good vacation hours credit, and yearly firm party in Tampa is always fun.

It's a grind because WC is not very interesting and it's not "real" litigation. The trials don't go to juries, the rules of evidence are simplified (no Daubert), and motion practice is limited. Firm expects a lot of billable hours (because the hourly rate is low) and plays favorites in how cases are assigned and how support staff are allocated. Finally, it appears management and HR have an obsession with watching their employees through cameras and not taking resignations gracefully.
