The culture that the company promotes to you in the interview process isn’t in any way genuine. My job could’ve been 100% remote, but working from home was heavily discouraged, and they looked for any reason not to pay you for that day if you did need to work remotely. They offer practically nothing for vacation time to new employees. The “Culture Club” that they love to promote is heavily crippled by the fact that management will do next to nothing to support the group. When I worked there, “Operation E” was virtually nonexistent, yet held a prominent spot on the company’s website. Nearly every one of my coworkers needed a second job because their salary was not enough to cover their expenses, but the owners seem to pay themselves handsomely. The list goes on. They decided at some point that it was important to “focus on culture,” but they don’t actually care about the culture, they just want to use it as a selling tool to promote themselves to clients and new employees.
