Pros

If you get hired, they think you can make it and have expectations for you to be successful. If you were successful in college, you can get a job with a decent starting salary for right out of college. You will have varied responsibilities and exposure to many different aspects of supporting health-care IT. For the most part, they do a good job of supporting professional development, but don't really allow you much time in order to do it. They ask for hard work, but will compensate you fairly. The "flat" managerial structure has some benefits, in that you don't have to deal with many levels of management if something really needs to be done.

Cons

The transition from training to having real responsibilities can be a bit rocky. They seem to have a bit of a sink or swim attitude with regards to that. They hire people that the expect to be successful, but training does not prepare you to do your job. Perhaps if they followed their own policies in terms of training/shadowing, it would go a bit more smoothly, but that won't always happen. You'll hit a wall once you get done with training where you won't know what you're doing at all and you'll have to work your way past that largely on your own.
