Top heavy company with unqualified people in C Suite positions. The executive team behaves like a high school clique, relentlessly gunning for people they don't like until they've run them off and then they pick the next one to go after. Threats, intimidation, and firing are their weapons of choice. Thought it might get better when the CEO retired, but instead it became Game of Thrones. The best way to make it more than a year or two here is to not standout and avoid interacting at all with the 3-4 executives that are the ring leaders. The things that made people standout to the executive team were exceptionally good work product, exceptionally bad work product, and where you worked before you joined this team.
