Cons
My experience with Energybox was deeply disappointing. The lack of proper training and support made success nearly impossible. Sales strategies were ineffective, with the CRO requiring pre-approved emails that consistently failed to generate results. Leadership lacked clear direction, with messaging and positioning so poor that customers often disengaged after the first meeting.
Favoritism was rampant, creating an unfair work environment. Sharing ideas with the team was discouraged—strategies were often co-opted by others who then presented them as their own, only to later criticize your contributions. The sales team also competed over the same prospects, making collaboration nearly impossible.
Despite hard work, employees were drained and often let go without warning or proper feedback. In my case, I was discharged at the end of the month, and my healthcare coverage was terminated with less than 24 hours’ notice instead of the standard 30 days.
I cannot recommend this company unless you are in a desperate situation. There are better opportunities elsewhere where your contributions will be valued.
