Pros
Generally staff are nice and easy to get along with. Proximity to Burlington or Williston. Limited but decent experience for new/younger engineers. Lots to learn if you are interested in agriculture and ag energy efficiency.
Cons
Little to no opportunity for growth, career development, or movement in the company. Compensation package is sorely lacking. New positions are few, far between, and generally filled by cherry picking; never opened to internal posting. Company is slow to, and usually doesn't fill vacated positions, instead tending to offload tasks to remaining employees overloading them, resulting in high stress levels and inability to juggle priorities. Heavily reliant upon outside contractors. Poor/confusing chain of command and organizational structure. Management is lacking in many areas. Co-owner is Human Resources manager creating potential conflicts of interest/discomfort when filing complaints. Tendencies towards favoritism and micro-management. Some unchecked misogyny/sexism.
