Pros
People. There are still some good people - nearly always a product of prior acquisitions. Turnover levels are extraordinarily high. At an executive level, there seems to be absolute chaos, marked by weak leaders whose bad behavior influences and defines the culture that Elm has nurtured through self serving leadership.
Cons
The leadership of the company is drunk on ego and completely out of touch with reality - look no further than recent ad campaigns promoting the individuals leading the company, not the product or the people doing all the work. These campaigns are full of deceptive promises and mistruths. This company is nothing other than a sales and marketing machine. The product that Elm has crafted is worst in class and Elm sells second hand bottom of the barrel Google leads at a premium back to their loyal customers.
