Pros
Decent benefits and okay salary
Cons
Toxic culture, zero support, poor management and constant disorganization I worked at EllisDon, and my experience was honestly awful. The company culture is disorganized, cliquey, and full of favoritism. Management often talks about “teamwork” and “innovation,” but in reality, communication is poor and leadership tends to dismiss employee feedback. Workloads are unrealistic, and there’s little to no genuine support for career growth or work-life balance. Many people stay because they’re afraid of losing stability, not because they’re happy or valued. The environment can become toxic very quickly, especially if you’re not part of the “inner circle.” For a company that prides itself on being progressive, EllisDon has a long way to go in terms of leadership accountability and respect for employees. I would not recommend working here unless you’re desperate for a paycheque or short-term experience.
