Cons
I came across this opportunity through a few connections who had been contacted by a recruiter. Based on their input, I applied and was called for an interview. While I understand that interview styles may vary, I found the experience quite uncomfortable. The interviewer seemed visibly judgmental—frequently sighing and giving disapproving looks—which came across as highly unprofessional.
During the discussion, they mentioned they were looking for something different in a candidate. However, my resume clearly reflected my relevant experience. It was unclear what more they expected—was I supposed to list skills I’ve never worked with? That kind of expectation felt arbitrary and unfair.
Following the interview, I reached out multiple times requesting feedback. Despite several reminders, no constructive feedback was ever shared. Eventually, I was simply informed that I was rejected—without any explanation. This kind of communication shows a lack of respect for a candidate’s time and effort.
More concerningly, I connected with former employees and discovered a troubling pattern: several new hires were terminated within just 3–4 months, often citing “poor performance.” What stood out was that this seemed to happen almost exclusively to new employees, while longer-tenured staff remained unaffected. This raises serious concerns about fairness, transparency, and internal practices.
Hiring people only to remove them shortly after reflects poorly on any organization, especially a small one. It causes unnecessary disruption and reputational damage—not to mention the impact on individuals who are simply trying to build stable careers.
