Pros
The company is very flexible with time management. You can set your own schedule based on your personal needs and work remotely whenever you want. I often work on large projects with teams from around the world, not just for the Australian market. The team is very supportive, and I enjoy sharing my experience and learning from colleagues globally. There are extra benefits like Care Day and Picnic Day, which let you take additional days off when you need them. The company is inclusive and hosts various events, such as Bingo for Pride, special lunches for important dates, and occasional yoga sessions. There’s also a gym in the building, which is convenient if you're in the office. I feel comfortable speaking up and sharing my ideas, knowing they will be listened to and valued.
Cons
Sometimes the workload can be quite heavy, but I think that's normal in any company. Working for a global company means coordinating across different time zones, which can be tricky but manageable. Data management could be improved; it can be hard to find files or figure out who to contact for information. We recently went through a change in the company structure, which made some people feel uncertain and waiting for more details about what will happen next.
