Pros

- Hybrid model (but they are extremely strict and NOT flexible when it comes to life events...so hybrid is a selling point but read the fine print) - Good Pay - You can find some great people - The office is nice

Cons

- Lack of sincerity as a whole- the flexibility that they sell you through their hybrid model seems great, but it can create a toxic environment. There is no flexibility for life events and you are left counting how many days you went in that month on your own (theres no tracker but someone knows) because you are at risk of being fired for not coming in enough days -Lack of Culture or Community: There is very little effort to make you feel like you belong to a team and that your work is more than just "busy" work. This role wasn't just a technical role but a role that was also building on itself to grow more mature, but it felt like the work I did was not really that important a week or so later...priorities shift a LOT and no one is on the same page. Also- you "rent" your desk for the day so you sit by someone new a lot and that seems okay but you do not get the comfortability of knowing the people around you. Makes it feel like you are just a number, just a desk, and not playing into a community feel. - Lack of leaders: Electrolux is a room full of managers and no leaders. (Maybe a handful but not a lot of them). There is no managerial leadership training, and a lot of the managers are hired off the streets due to turnover, so they do not know the company culture or how electrolux wants teams to be led. - Little to No Training: Training and Development was HUGE when I started at Electrolux, and I was promised a lot of things. Nothing came to fruition, and when I brought this up to my manager (who was also new to the company) I was told in a very dismissive way: "I am figuring it out on my own too". I left that 1:1 extremely discouraged. - Lack of Buy In from Upper Management: My team had the unique opportunity to build and develop an area of the business, but with the lack of resources and technologies to do the job well, we were left treading water but still feeling like we had to prove ourselves. We really needed upper management to get align with the work we were doing to build a robust demand plan. Every meeting felt like we were moving 2 steps backwards and half a step forward. - When you do leave voluntarily, they do not care about your thoughts or concerns. I have been waiting for 6 months for someone to give me an exit interview (which I have requested multiple times). This is why I am finally posting on here. - Extremely unclear growth opportunities: because management is as new as their subordinates, there is no clear path to success...this was a big red flag for me.

Pros

Office is clean. Free electric vehicle charging is available.

Cons

Global Leadership is forcing RTO which is presumably to get people to quit so they don't have to have a RIF and deal with that backlash. There's no reason for it after posting great numbers while everyone was remote or hybrid. Leadership is expecting the same output from employees as those at the banks in Charlotte. But that's without the benefits of high pay, big bonuses and unlimited PTO. Unless you're on a director's favorites list, you are just a pawn.
