Pros

I love the "culture" here. The culture encompassing the people I work with from the associate all the way to partner level. The accessibility to staff and manager is something I definitely can't complain about.

Cons

The pay and benefits are not competitive; not on a national level or on a regional level. This will be the company's greatest challenge to attracting a competent workforce and retaining talented individuals. Culture can only take you so far when you aren't adequately compensated for the work that you do. It seems that people are paid just enough to get over that hump of not having to pay overtime. In addition the bonus really just seems like a slap in the face. I'd almost rather receive nothing than something so menial. So, while I love the company for the people that work in it, I would not recommend working here until they fix the compensation/bonus and structure of benefits.

We are sorry you feel this way. We care very much about offering our employees a competitive compensation and benefits package. We constantly do research to ensure we align with our competition and we compare information transparently with peer firms in public accounting on an annual basis. We are proud to say our retention levels remain ahead of industry averages and always strive to make sure that continues.

Pros

Good amount of holidays and PTO. Lifestyle spending account and remote work were great.

Cons

In an attempt to get me to leave, little by little, my job duties were taken over by others in the department. Partners let this happen and did nothing to help me. Eventually, they eliminated my role. I documented multiple instances where the work environment was incredibly toxic but no one cared. HR never even contacted me for an exit interview. My experience was that if you did not fit into the boys club you would not succeed. There was a culture of micro-aggressions, cruelty, and badmouthing others when they weren't in the room and excluding anyone who did not fit their views.
