Illogical management decisions, toxic workplace, overarching KODs lead to corruption and illegal behavior (per the FDA) and are ignored when called out.
There are good managers, I didn't experience working with them though and know multiple people that were hospitalized including myself due to workplace trauma. Their "management" approaches are oddly close to brainwashing tactics (breaking down the person and silencing any POV from the person being subjected to the "feedback") which explains why people pleasing employees are overworked to the point of mental breakdowns by management's outdated and non-psychology-based approaches.
I went to the hospital due to a mental breakdown, asked for an investigation on previous emotional abuse and workplace harassment, and reported a product non-conformance within a two week span and was quickly terminated without a proper investigation (and was ignored when requested to be put on FMLA after speaking with a psychiatrist). HR threw several reasons at me to try to terminate me and ended at a protected reason (wrongful termination due to mental disability - temporary and acknowledged mental state).
I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND anyone being subjected to this type of treatment at EW, to keep a detailed record of events that they go through, because no one inside will have your back.
