Pros
The camaraderie and friendships were by far my favorite thing. There are also opportunities to develop your professional and interpersonal skills. Now-2-Wow company event. Senior management handled Covid really well and made sure staff was taken care of.
Cons
This company operates very highly on a favoritism basis, if you aren't bothered by it then you're either benefiting from it or ignorant to it. You'll often waste your time applying and interviewing for a promotion, they're usually predetermined but they give the impression of inclusivity by letting you apply anyways. You're required to be a member and have an account- beware if you use Educators as your main financial; if you use your earned sick time, someone in HR might look through your account history and interrogate you about why there's transactions occurring while you're not at work. CEO watches cameras and treats managers poorly based off of 1 minute footage in branch, which creates unreasonable expectations that ultimately hurt member service in the name of looking the part rather than actually delivering excellent service.
