Genuinely nice, hard-working people. Flexible work options.

Salaries are extremely low, with little or no reward for hard work or strong performance, and no clear career progression. Unrealistic profit expectations create constant and excessive pressure on employees to deliver. There is a huge gap between the company's public activism and the reality. "Bills to Mills" is a myth. HR and People practices are poor and fall well short of best-practice standards. The three-month notice period is excessive and unnecessarily restrictive. Ecotricity operates like a small family business, with the SLT (particularly the owner) constantly changing priorities and employees left scrambling to deliver.
