Pros

You can meet some nice people.

Cons

Working at Easyfairs has been the most toxic experience of my career. The company is neither fair nor supportive, and favoritism is rampant. If you find yourself on the wrong side of certain individuals, they will go out of their way to make your life miserable—eventually forcing you out, no matter how good your performance is. The management style is micromanaging and oppressive, with some teams being significantly worse than others. If you do decide to apply, research carefully and make sure you’re joining the "right" team. However, even in the “better” teams, no one seems genuinely happy, and morale across the company is dismal. One of the biggest frustrations is how they falsely advertise flexibility. The reality is far from it—you are expected to adhere strictly to their rigid rules, with no real work-life balance or understanding of individual needs. Management shows zero concern for employee well-being. Overworking is the norm, and many people end up crying either in the office or at home due to the intense pressure and stress. The toxic culture is pervasive, and managers make no effort to address or improve it. A word of advice if you ever find yourself here: document everything and tread carefully. The environment is incredibly draining, and even small social missteps (like forgetting to greet everyone in the morning) can have repercussions. This was by far the worst work experience I’ve ever had, and I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. Avoid at all costs.

Easyfairs Response

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your time with Easyfairs. Nobody should feel miserable in the workplace and we’re saddened to hear this. We’re sorry to read that you didn’t have a good experience. We regularly conduct anonymous pulse checks across the business to review how people are feeling so that we can make changes for the teams and ensure that nobody feels this ways. I’m pleased to say that we score highly on this regularly; our flexibility in terms of hybrid working, core hours, and early Friday finishes are highly praised. That flexibility aligns with our approach to employee wellbeing, including partnering with a Life & Wellbeing Coach, and other health benefits such as a weekly yoga class. We sincerely wish you the best for the future and hope you thrive in another environment.
